Mysuru: The Postal Department under the ‘Deenadayal Sparsh’ scheme is offering scholarship for promotion of aptitude and research in stamps as a hobby among children.
Students studying from 6th to 9th standard and who have scored 60% during 2017-18 and having a Philately Deposit Account or membership with Stamp Collectors Forum or interested in continuing stamp collection as a hobby are eligible for the scholarship of Rs. 6,000 per annum.
The students will be selected through a written quiz contest. The selected students should successfully complete a project assigned by the Postal Department.
