Students of Mahabodhi School, Saraswathipuram, won six medals at the 13th State-level Dasara Karate Championship and Marathon held in city recently.
Dharma Keerthi Roopesh, a tenth standard student of the School, bagged bronze medal in Marathon and third place in Karate (Individual Kumite – above 60 kg category).
In Individual Kata, Jigthel (6th standard) won silver medal in 12 to 13 years category.
In Individual Kumite, Rakesh Chakama (5th std.) bagged second place in 20-25 kg; Achara (6th std.) – third in 20-25 kg; Golu (6th std.) – third in 30-35 kg category and Mahipal (7th std.) – third in 40-45 kg category.
