Chamarajanagar: The Head Master of Christa Raja Balara Pattana School in Ramasamudra, Joseph, who had thrown a cane at a student who lost his eye as a result, has been suspended by the management of the school.

The parents of Girimallesh, (the unfortunate victim of this nasty incident who lost his left eye) had filed a complaint with the city Police and School Administration. The management based on the complaint has taken disciplinary action against the Head Master.

Girimallesh is undergoing treatment at Coimbatore’s Aravind Eye Hospital.

DC seeks report: DC B.B. Kaveri, after seeing the report in the newspapers, has directed the BEO to investigate the issue regarding the student losing an eye and send her a report.
