Mysuru: The District- level Science Fair for high school students, ‘Vignana Vihar,’ will be conducted by ATAL Tinkering Lab, Kautilya Vidyalaya, Dattagalli, in association with Mysore Science Foundation, under the aegis of National Children’s Science Congress on Dec.1 at the school premises. Theme for the event is ‘Science, Technology and Innovation for a Clean, Green and Healthy Nation.’
Participants need to create and demonstrate a working model based on any one of the sub themes — Ecosystem and Ecosystem services; Health, Hygiene and Sanitation; Waste to Wealth; Society, Culture and Livelihood; Traditional Knowledge System. Event is open to schools from Mysuru city and district. First prize winner gets a cash prize of Rs.5,000 and second Rs.3,000 for each of the sub-themes.
