Science models by students attract visitors at Suttur Jathra

Suttur: The second day of the ongoing Suttur Jathra yesterday featured a very interesting Science exhibition with students of various schools presenting science models evincing curiosity and interest among the visitors. About 150 models were on display spread over in 10 sections.

Students of Suttur School had created a model of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and the students explained the features.

Ajjipura School students had evolved an automatic street lighting system to save energy and manpower.

Students of Jayanagar School explained the process of lighting a bulb by just clapping, eliminating a switch. Ramapura School students explained the transmission process of light.

Students of other schools explained the ways of avoiding road accidents in curves, Newton’s Laws of Motion, concept of X-ray, scanning, solar power and many more. The visitors were pleased to be updated with scientific knowledge by the students.
