Mysuru: Kalasuruchi, Kutuhali-Kannada and The Academy Trust have jointly organised Science Sanje at Suruchi Rangamane on Chitrabhanu Road, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru, on Jan. 11 between 6.30 pm and 7.30 pm.
Dr. G.S. Kumar, Head, Health Section, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM), Mysuru, will deliver a talk on the topic ‘Today’s Girl Child Tomorrow’s Mother.’

Dr. G.S. Kumar is a Paediatrician by training and now heads the Health Unit of the NGO, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM), Saragur.
He has had more than two decades of experience in child health care in rural settings of Mysuru district.
Besides, leading the health unit at SVYM, Dr. Kumar also is the Principal Investigator of the Einstein Project of Helti India. The project, being implemented in Mysuru district, studies the impact of various health and nutrition interventions on women, pregnant women and their progeny as a longitudinal study.
