Mysuru: As part of its ‘Science Sanje’ programme, Kalasuruchi and Kutuhali Kannada have organised a talk on ‘Tattoo Tales’ by Suresh Chandrasekaran, Marketing Manager – Clinical Laboratories and POCT, QuidelOrtho, Bengaluru, at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar on Oct. 10 at 6.30 pm.
There will be Monthly Musing on ‘Bottled Water and Potholes’ between 6.15 pm and 6.30 pm.
Suresh Chandrasekaran is an expert with over three decades of experience in the manufacturing and sales of medical diagnostic technologies and equipment. He currently serves as the Sales Director for the Asia-Pacific region at QuidelOrtho.
He has a keen interest in writing, science communication and literature. He possesses specialised expertise in technologies and equipment for detecting autoimmune diseases, cancer and infectious diseases prevalent in South Asia.
In his talk, ‘Hachcheya Harate’ (A Chat About Tattoos), he will discuss the history of tattooing, associated cultural practices and the body’s physiological reactions to tattoo ink.
