Mysore/Mysuru: As part of ‘Science Sanje’ event, Kalasuruchi and Kutuhali-Kannada have organised a talk on ‘Clean Energy and Green Technologies’ by Prof. Shamsundar Subbarao, Head, NIE-CREST & Head of International Collaborations, National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar tomorrow (Jan. 10) from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

Profile: An accomplished academician and environmentalist with over 32 years of experience, Prof. Shamsundar is a pioneer in implementing sustainable technologies, including carbon-neutral farming, waste-to-wealth initiatives and rural electrification via microgrids.

 Prof. Shamsundar Subbarao has an M.Sc. (Engg) in Renewable Energy from the University of Oldenburg, Germany (DAAD Scholar) and BE in Mechanical Engineering from Karnatak University, Dharwad.
