Science Week at Teresian College

Mysore/Mysuru: Teresian College, Mysuru, inaugurated its Science Week celebrations with the theme ‘Anviksha-2026’ highlighting curiosity, inquiry and innovation in science at the College premises in Siddarthanagar this morning.

Rev. Dr. Sr. Rohini, who officially unveiled the name ‘Anviksha-2026,’ emphasised the importance of nurturing scientific temper, creativity and innovative thinking among students.

Dr. C. Jeyanthi, Dean of Science and Vivek Charles, IQAC Coordinator, along with faculty members and students, were present on the occasion.

As part of the inauguration, faculty and students participated in a rally spreading awareness with the message “Reduce Plastic, Restore Nature,”  reinforcing the institution’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable living.

The inauguration of ‘Anviksha-2026’ marked the beginning of a vibrant week-long celebration of science, featuring a series of innovative competitions and academic programmes aimed at fostering scientific curiosity, creativity and a spirit of inquiry among students.
