Mysore/Mysuru: A 35-year-old two-wheeler rider was killed when the scooter he was riding, collided head on with a car near a poultry farm at Daripura on Mysuru-Manandavadi Road on Friday.

Ravichandra (35), a resident of Sunnadakeri, is the deceased.

Ravichandra was riding on his Honda Dio scooter from H.D. Kote side towards Mysuru, when a car travelling towards H.D. Kote knocked down his scooter near the poultry farm at Daripura.

Ravichandra, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, was being shifted in an ambulance to a city hospital, when he died en route, it is learnt. 

Jayapura Police have registered a case in this regard.
