Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director, Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD), was awarded a ‘Certificate of Recognition’ for “his outstanding commitment and contribution to the management education globally during COVID-19 pandemic situation”.
European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Global has recognised his driving excellence in adoption of technology for the teaching & learning process and participation in academic responsibilities.
The Institute has effectively used the open-source software(s) for learning management system for resource sharing, evaluation, participation, submissions of assignment and other curricular activities. Further, SDM-IMD has deployed the effective tools for online course delivery, meetings, academic events like conference(s), inspection visits, and other academic activities.
Speaking on the recognition, Dr. Parasuraman said ‘I was appointed as member of EFMD Programme Accreditation Board late last year; attending meetings and participating in decisions regarding accreditation to various B-Schools around the world. I was a Peer Review Team member in accrediting an overseas University. All these happened from March 2020 on virtual mode.’
