Mysore/Mysuru: The Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD), Chamundi Hill Road, Siddarthanagar, Mysuru, will host its 13th International Conference on “HR 5.0: The Human-Centric Future of Work” on Dec.18 and 19.
The event is organised under the aegis of BCIC-SDM-IMD Centre for Management Excellence and aims to bring together leading thinkers, industry professionals and academicians to deliberate on evolving landscape of human resource management.
The conference will focus on HR 5.0, a progressive paradigm that combines the effectiveness of cutting-edge technologies — such as artificial intelligence, automation and data analytics — with the enduring values of empathy, inclusivity and human relationships.
HR 5.0 aims to build a workplace where digital innovation supports, but does not replace human capital and where organisations flourish with a people-centric approach.
The two-day conference will host a distinguished line-up of experts from diverse domains within Human Resource Management.
The inaugural ceremony on Dec. 18 will feature addresses by Dr. Kiranpreett Kaur, Chief of People, CPM India and Rajesh Jha, Country Sustainability Manager, ABB India, who will share insights on shaping a human-centric future of work.
The valedictory on Dec. 19 will be attended by Jahangir Shaikh, Director – HRBP, Zepto, as the chief guest. The conference will also include technical sessions led by eminent speakers such as Prof. Kamal Jain, Director of FROST and Distinguished Professor at IIM Raipur and Hemlata Ramu, Senior Director – HR, Biocon Biologics.
A key highlight of the conference will be a panel discussion on “Leveraging Technology for Human-Centricity at Work.” The panel includes Atul Sharma, National Vice-President ISTD& Founding Director, Solutions Wilcom Company; Smitha Bopanna, Director, Noesys Software Pvt Ltd. and Naresh Babu Deevi, Chief Growth Officer, Husys Consulting Limited.
