Mysuru: SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India) candidate Abdul Majid undertook brisk campaigning in MCC Ward No.49, 50 and 51, coming under N.R. Constituency yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the MLA, who has been representing the constituency for years, had done little for the development of the constituency.
Alleging that there were no proper health care facilities in the constituency and more than 80,000 people were leading an unsecured life, Majid claimed that, thanks to the MLA, the N.R. Constituency has earned the infamous distinction of having the highest number of slums.
Exhorting the people to vote for a change this time, Majid appealed the people to cast their votes for him.
