Second MCC Zone-wise Adalat held

A senior citizen airing his grievances at the Palike Adalat held at MCC Zone 1 Office in K.R. Mohalla this morning.

Mysuru: Zone-wise Adalat of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) was conducted at its Zonal Offices 1 and 2 in the city this morning. It is a second such exercise, after the Adalat was launched from MCC Zonal Office -3 in Sharadadevinagar on Jan.20.

Mayor Shivakumar, who received the grievances at Zonal Office 1 on Fifth Cross of Thyagaraja Road, K.R. Mohalla and Zonal Office 2 at Jayanagar, directed the officers not to make aggrieved lot wait to redress their grievances, if any.

In the case of issuing Completion Report (CR), the reports can be given up to five per cent violations in building plans. Regarding any services, either they should be provided on the spot or acknowledgment be issued after collecting requisite documents, Mayor Shivakumar added directing the officers not to show laxity in work.

Deputy Mayor Dr. G. Roopa, Corporators M.V. Ramprasad from Ward-55, Begum (Pallavi) from Ward 56, Shobha from Ward 48, B.V. Manjunath from Ward 51, Chayadevi from Ward 52 and Sowmya Umesh from Ward 49 were present. MCC Additional Deputy Commissioner Roopa, Assistant Commissioner of MCC Zone-1 Manjunath Reddy and Assistant Commissioner of MCC Zone-2 Nagaraj were also present during the Adalat.

The next Adalat will be held on Jan. 31 at MCC Zonal Offices 4 and 5, Feb.3-MCC Zonal Offices 6 and 7 and Feb.7- MCC Zonal Offices-8 and 9.
