Mysore/Mysuru: In a tragic accident, a 45-year-old security guard was killed on the spot when the moped he was riding was knocked down by a tractor on Lalitha Mahal road in the city this morning.
Siddaraju, a resident of Alanahalli and who was working as a security guard at an apartment in Siddarthanagar, is the deceased.
Siddaraju was travelling on his TVS moped towards Kurubarahalli Circle on Lalitha Mahal road at about 11.40 am when a speeding tractor coming from behind fatally knocked him down near the helipad arch.
Siddarthanagar Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
