Seized liquor destroyed by Excise Department

Mysuru: The Excise Department, which had seized 433.82 litres liquor and 91.140 litres of beer in 13 cases, has destroyed the seized liquor as per the order from the Mysuru Rural District Excise Deputy Commissioner.

The seized liquor was destroyed on Nov. 15 in the presence of Hunsur Sub-Division Excise Department Deputy Superintendent M.D. Mohan Kumar, K.R. Nagar Taluk Magistrate Surendramurthy, K.R. Nagar Zone Excise Inspector Y.S. Lokesh, Karnataka State Beverages Corporation Limited (KSBCL) Hunsur Depot Officials and K.R. Nagar Zone staff, according to a press release from the K.R. Nagar Zone Excise Inspector.
