Mysuru: Karnataka Sanskrit University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Padma Shekar and writer Dr. Padmaraj Dandavathi have been selected for the Chavundaraya Endowment Award – 2016, while Pallava Prakashana has been selected for the Ankitha Endowment Award to be given for year’s best publication house.
The awardees were selected by a Committee headed by Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr. Manu Baligar. The Chavundaraya Endowment Award will carry a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 and Ankitha Endowment Award will carry a cash prize of Rs. 35,000, citation and certificate.
