Suma Chandrashekar, a young writer from Mysuru, has bagged ‘Lalithadevi Gurusiddappa Sindhura Endowment Award’ for her book ‘Satya Pathada Nitya Santa.’ The award is being given by Kannada Sahitya Parishat for the year 2019. In connection with 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the Government of Karnataka has published this book through Kannada Book Authority. The book has 18 chapters throwing light on life and message of the Mahatma. A promising writer, her works are published in leading newspapers. She is also the recipient of ‘Gandhi Smruthi’ and ‘Kannada Manikya Ratna’ awards.
