Selected for Badminton Asia Junior Championship 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru’s Diya Bheemaiah has been selected to represent India at Badminton Asia U-17 & U-15 Junior Championship 2024. The Championship, organised by the Badminton World Federation and Badminton Asia Confederation, is set to take place from Aug. 20 to 25 at Chengdu, China.

Diya, along with her partner Baruni Parashwal from Haryana, will compete in the Junior Girls Doubles U-17 category.

Hailing from Kodagu district, Diya has honed her skills under the expert guidance of Coaches  B.P. Bheemaiah and Arun Pemmaiah at Sports Park Mysore.

Diya Bheemaiah is the daughter of B.P. Bheemaiah and Kusuma Bheemaiah.
