Selected for DVG Muktaka Sahitya Award

Mysuru: Noted Bengaluru-based Muktaka (Limericks) Poetess Vijaya Padmashali will be conferred with the prestigious Dr. DVG Muktaka Sahitya Award instituted by the city-based Karnataka Muktaka Sahitya Academy Trust, at a programme to take place marking the Trust’s 23rd anniversary, at Rotary West auditorium in Saraswathipuram on Feb. 16.

Also, the following achievers from different fields — H. Ramachandran (Auditing and Religious activities), Dr. B.R. Guruprasad (Science and Technology), Dr. V. Ranganath (Administration and Literature), M. Chandrashekar (Arts, Literature and Organisation), Dr. Koviladi Archana R. Rao (Music) and S. Nataraj (English Literature), will be felicitated on the occasion.

Also, writer Kiran Sidlehalli’s work ‘Bhogamuktaka’ will be released on the occasion.
