Selected for Gandhi Smriti Award

Mysore/Mysuru: Gandhian Dr. K. Raghuram Vajpayee has been chosen for Gandhi Smriti Award given by Amara Bapu Chintana Patrike, Bengaluru. The award will be conferred on him at a function on Oct. 5 at 10.30 am at Patrakartara Bhavan in city.

Amara Bapu Chintana is a bilingual-bimonthly magazine, striving to spread the message of Mahatma Gandhi to the people. On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Amara Bapu Chintana, in association with Pranava Media House Prakashana, has organised the function to present the award to Dr. Raghuram.

Deputy Director of Kannada and Culture H. Chennappa, Founder of DTS Foundation D.T. Prakash and former President of Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat Maddikere Gopal will be the chief guests. Sub-editor of Amara Bapu Chintana Dr. Gururaj Poshettihalli will be present at the function, according to a press release.
