Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Mahesh Dalapathi of the city has been selected for State-level Dr. H. Narasimhaiah Award for the year 2025 by Karnataka State Scientific Research Council (KSSRC).
According to the Council District President Bhashpanjali, Dalapathi has been selected for the Award from the field of academics. He is the Syndicate Member of Mysore University and Principal of Vatsalya College of Education of Sri Nataraja Pratishtana, for the past 18 years.
A native of Tagadur in Nanjangud, Dalapathi is the member of Examination Board of the Mysore University. He has authored a biography of CM Siddaramaiah, titled ‘Abhinava Arasu’ that portrays the life and political journey of Siddaramaiah.
Besides, several of his writings are ready for publication. He has made an impression as a writer and is on the Editorial Board of many publications.
The Narasimhaiah Award is given to one achiever from each of the district, said KSSRC President Hulikal Nataraj.
The award will be conferred at the State-level Conference scheduled from Dec. 28 to 30 at the District Stadium in Yadgir, stated a press release.
