Mysuru: Sri Guru Puttaraja Sangeetha Sabha, Mysuru, will be conferring Pandit K.S. Hadapada Award on Dr. Udayaraj Karpur (tabla) of Bengaluru for the year 2020 and Pandit Ramesh Dhannur (tabla) of Mysuru for the year 2021.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and a citation. The awards will be presented at a programme to be held in memory of Pt. K.S. Hadapada at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road in city on Mar. 26 at 6 pm.

The awardees were selected by a Committee headed by Sabha Hon. President M.V. Ramaprasad with Dr. A.L. Desai, Pandit Allama Prabhu, Kadakola, Dr. Gurubasava Mahamane and Shantala Vattam as Committee Members, according to a press release from Sabha President Bheemashankar Bidanur.
