Selected for National-level Young Scientist contest

Mysore/Mysuru:  M.R. Raghav of Grade 9 from The Orchids Public School, Mysuru, is one among the 26 students who have been selected for the final round in a National-level Tech Competition – Young Scientist India 21-22 hosted by Space Kidz India.

Raghav’s project was to design a Smart Garbage Monitoring System that notifies (in real-time) the city’s cleaning authority on the level of garbage filled in a public garbage bin with its exact location using location trackers.

This project was an initiative under Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) under the guidance of Vijeth, according to a press release from S. Chethana, Principal, The Orchids Public School.
