Mysuru: Om Nirmalkar, a Grade 11 student of 10X International School, Mysuru, has been selected for the 2026-27 Junior Academy of the New York Academy of Sciences, an international STEM programme that brings together students from across the world to work on real-world scientific and technological challenges.
As part of the 10-week Innovation Challenge, Om will collaborate virtually with an international team, taking part in research, ideation, solution development, analysis and final presentation of a project.
Students who complete the prescribed challenge milestones receive a certificate and Young Membership of the Academy while selected projects may progress to external evaluation.
