Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru Sahitya Mathu Samskruthika Pratishtana Founder-President M.B. Santosh has been selected for ‘Ramanashree Sharana’ Award for the year 2025, given by Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat and Ramanashree Pratishtana.
Santosh was selected for the award in recognition of his contribution to Vachana literature in the modern days.
A Committee comprising President of Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat Dr. C. Somashekar, Chairman of Ramanashree Pratishtana, Nadoja S. Shadakshari, writer Go. Ru. Channabasappa, Dr. Manu Baligar, senior journalists Vishweshwar Bhat and Ravi Hegde, finalised the name of Santosh for the award.
The award will be presented at a ceremony to be organised in Bengaluru on Nov. 17. The award carries a purse of Rs. 20,000 and a memento, stated a press release from B. Shobha, General Secretary of the Pratishtana.
