Selected for scholarship

Mysuru: Mercedes Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) has offered a scholarship of  Rs. 2 lakh each and internship to 14 girl students pursuing second and third year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Production streams in the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru.

The programme, “Mercedes in MECH”, is an initiative taken up by MBRDI to encourage girl students to pursue their bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and allied streams by giving away scholarships, internships, mentoring and other programmes.

The selected students will get an opportunity to be a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) at MBRDI after the completion of Bachelor’s degree.

MBRDI has introduced this unique programme to improve diversity in the workforce of automobile industry and the skill set of selected girl candidates.
