Selected for State Police cricket team

The city’s Metagalli Police Inspector Diwakar has been selected as a member of  Karnataka State Police Cricket Team that will take part in the T-20 Leather Ball Cricket Tournament organised by New Delhi’s All India Police Sports Board. The Tournament will be held at Bengaluru from Feb. 7. Diwakar, a native of Palahalli in Srirangapatna taluk, joined the State Police force as a Sub-Inspector in 2005 and was promoted as an Inspector in 2016.
