Mysuru:  R.M. Chetty, Secretary of Senior Citizens Forum, Rajarajeswari Nagar, Mysuru, has been selected for the Suvarna Shree State Award in recognition of his social service.

The Award will be  presented to him in the presence of  Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and other dignitaries at a function organised by Karnataka Pradesha Hindulida Vargagala Maha Okkuta, Suvarna Charitable Trust and Kannada and Culture Department, Bengaluru on May 11 at 4 pm at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bengaluru.
