Selected for Sri Shivarathreeshwara Award

Mysuru: Writer Dr. Pradeep Kumar Hebri’s work titled ‘Udutadiya Kidi’ has been selected for Sri Shivarathreeshwara Award for the year 2016.

The award, instituted by Sri Shivarathreeshwara Religious Endowment of JSS Mahavidyapeetha in the year 1983, carries a cash prize of Rs.25,000 and a citation.

Although Dr. Pradeep Kumar Hebri is a Doctor by profession, he has a passion for writing. He has more than 285 works to his credit. A prolific writer, he has been bestowed with awards from various Mutts, Institutions and organisations. He has also Chaired many literary meets in Mandya district.
