The District-level selection trials for admission (boys and girls) to 8th standard and 1st PUC in Sports Schools/ Hostels (2020-21) in the State will take place at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad here on Dec. 29 and 30.
The upper age limit for admission to 8th standard is 14 years as on June 1, 2021 (born on or after June 1, 2007). The selection trials will take place on Dec.29.
The upper age limit for admission to 1st PUC is 18 years as on June 1, 2021 (born on or after June 1, 2003). The selection trials will be held on Dec. 30.
Interested eligible students from eight taluks of the district can apply. The application forms are available at the office of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES), Chamundi Vihar Stadium. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2564179.
