Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) will be conducting the first round selection of sports persons (junior boys and girls) for admission to 5th standard at its District Sports School for the year 2022-23, according to DYES Assistant Director K. Suresh.
Candidates, both boys and girls, aged below 10 years and studying in 4th standard (2021-22), may take part in the taluk-level selection trials in Athletics and Gymnastics at their respective taluks on the below said date at 9.30 am along with their Aadhaar Card:
Mar. 4: Vidyodaya School Sports Ground, T. Narasipur and Periyapatna Taluk Sports Ground, Periyapatna.
Mar. 5: Nanjangud Taluk Sports Ground and Hunsur Taluk Sports Ground.
Mar. 7: Saragur Government PU College Sports Ground and K.R. Nagar Taluk Sports Ground.
Mar. 8: H.D. Kote Taluk Sports Ground and Saligrama in H.D. Kote.
Sports persons selected at the Taluk-level will take part in the District-level Selection Trials to be held at Chamundi Vihar Stadium at 9 am on Mar. 14.
Participants must report at the venue along with the prescribed application form, passport size photograph, Aadhaar Card and health certificate. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2564179.
