Selvanaik (38), a young scientist and a resident of Gundapura village, passed away yesterday following brief illness. He leaves behind his father Subbanaik, mother Susheela Bai, wife Niveditha, two children and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed yesterday.
Selvanaik, who was working as a Scientist in China since 10 years, had returned to his native place in December 2019 when the first wave of COVID-19 pandemic broke out in China.
His health deteriorated about 15 days ago and he breathed his last yesterday.
