Seminar on ‘Indian Construction Industry 2030’ held

Mysore/Mysuru: The 20th edition of Buildtech 2021 – A National Technical Seminar on ‘Indian Construction Industry 2030 – A Trillion $ Challenge’ was organised by Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysuru Centre, at Mysore Builders’ Charitable Trust (MBCT)  Auditorium in Vishweshwaranagar on Saturday.

Speaking after inaugurating the seminar, MLA S.A. Ramdas said with the growth of science and technology, effective changes have taken place in construction industry which has resulted in the development of the nation.

Stating that the knowledge of experts of construction industry plays a key role in implementing major projects like roads, bridges & dams, multi-storeyed & high-rise buildings and                                                      Government’s Housing Projects, he said that BAI, MBCT office-bearers should give suggestions and guidance during the implementation of Government’s Housing Projects in his Assembly constituency.

BAI Karnataka State Chairman R.B. Dayanand, BAI Mysuru Chairman K. Ajit Narayan, Buildtech 21 Chairman C.S. Srikanth, Buildtech 21 Hon. Secretary V. Mohan Kumar and others participated in the seminar.

Construction Industry experts M.G. Somashekar, Radhakrishna, Nyath Vajjala delivered talks on ‘Precast Construction – Challenges and Way Forward,’ P.S. Aditya on ‘3D Printing in Construction,’ G.B. Nagendra and Rahul Pandit on ‘Rail Infra,’ Gayatri Vasudevan and J.P. Shroff on ‘Skill Development and Training – Need of the hour’ and M. Anand on ‘Green Initiatives in Construction.’
