The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, NIEIT Mysuru is organising a one-day National seminar on “Recent Advances in Communication Technologies-A Power System Perspective” on Mar. 18 at the college premises in Koorgalli. N. Murugesan, former Director General, CPRI, Bengaluru, will inaugurate and deliver the keynote address at 10 am. G.S. Ramachandra, Hon. Secretary, NIE, will preside.
Dr. T. Ananthapadmanabha, Principal, is the Chief Coordinator. The objective of this seminar is to give exposure on technological developments achieved in the domain of Power system communication starting from Power Line Carrier communication to the recently evolved Cognitive Radio Network based Communication.
