Mysore/Mysuru: A senior citizen, who was walking on the roadside, has died of injuries after a bike rammed him from behind on Shivaji Road in N.R. Mohalla yesterday.

The deceased is Mohammed (86), a resident of N.R. Mohalla. 

Mohammed was walking on the roadside at about 7 pm yesterday when a youth, identified as 20-year-old Praveen Kumar, rammed the bike he was riding into Mohammed from behind.

Police said that Mohammed, who suffered serious injuries, was rushed to a private hospital, where he succumbed to injuries. 

N.R. Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
