Mysuru: An incident of a 70-year-old woman being killed when a speeding car rammed into her has been reported on Dattagalli Ring Road here yesterday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Puttamma, a resident of Kergalli Salundi village in the taluk, who used to sell greens for a living.
It is reported that Puttamma had come to her brother’s house in Dattagalli and was on her way back to the village. While she was walking near Adithya Circle, an unidentified car rammed into her and sped away, killing her on the spot.
K.R. Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
