Serial accidents leave cars damaged on Hunsur Road

Mysuru: The sudden application of brake by a car moving in front led to three cars coming behind it ramming into each other leaving four cars damaged on Hunsur Road here this noon.

According to an eyewitness, a Hyundai Creta car (KL-58 R-555) driven by one Munaf, which came from Hunsur side, crossed the Traffic Signal lights near Paduvarahalli and on moving a bit further, the driver reportedly applied sudden brakes resulting in a Hyundai i10 car (KA-09 MA-9664) driven by Doddaswamaiah ramming the Hyundai Creta car from behind and a Maruti Suzuki Eco car (KA-09 MB-5063) ramming into Hyundai i10 car and a Ford Fiesta car (KA-17 M-9487) driven by one Gurumurthy ramming into the Maruti Eco car from behind.

This resulted in traffic jam for a couple of minutes. V.V. Puram Traffic Police, who rushed to the spot, were trying to clear the vehicles from the road to make way for smooth flow of traffic.

However, no one was injured in the accident, but the four vehicles have been damaged. No complaint nor case was registered when we went to the Press.
