Serial thefts

Mysuru: Serial thefts have taken place in flats at an apartment on Hunsur Road here. While miscreants have stolen cash and other articles from the flats of Anand, an employee of Judiciary Department and journalist Lokesh Nerabidare, the miscreants have made a futile bid to loot the house of Somalatha, an employee at PWD.

Devaraja Police, who rushed to the spot, inspected the flats and have registered a case.

It may be recalled that two flats were burgled in the same apartment about a week ago, and the serial thefts now have shocked the residents. Though enough security is provided at apartments, it is to be known how the burglars entered the apartment and managed to loot.
