A ‘sewage river’ on Vinaya Marga !

Sir,

We, the residents of 8th Cross Vinaya Marga, Siddartha Layout (behind Jain Temple) have been frequently facing flooding of sewage water. Often the main line is blocked for one reason or the other resulting in back-flushing of sewage water to the corner house of Vinaya Marga and 8th Cross. Ultimately the drainage water overflows onto the entire street resembling a ‘river.’

In spite of our repeated complaints, neither the authorities concerned nor the local elected representative have taken any   action. We the residents want a permanent solution instead of allowing the drainage overflow often and then clear the pipes.

When Mysuru is second to Delhi for dengue and chikungunya, we the residents are afraid, if a permanent solution is not found very soon we will be the victims of such killer diseases.

Hence, we request the authorities concerned to offer a permanent solution to this frequently happening unhealthy civic   problem.
