The Editorial Board of JSS Science and Technology University (JSS S&TU), Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) has organised ‘SHABD’, an annual literary and art fest at its premises on June 4 and 5. The inauguration will be held tomorrow at 10.30 am at IS Seminar Hall in the campus. Asia’s fastest speed painter Vilas Nayak will be the guest of honour. JSS S&TU Vice-Chancellor Dr. A.N. Santhosh Kumar, Registrar Dr. S.A. Dhanaraj, SJCE Principal and Dean Dr. S.B. Kivade and Editorial Board Staff Coordinator Dr. Vanishri Arun will be present.

The fest includes various events like quiz, debate, creative writing, letter writing, pictionary, crossword and poetry both in Kannada and English; art events like photography, painting, mask-making etc.  Participants may win cash prize up to Rs. 70,000.
