Mysuru: The 13th edition of SHABD, the annual two-day literary fest for the literary and art enthusiasts organised by Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) Editorial Board, will be held on Feb. 16 and 17 at its premises.
It is an inter-collegiate competitive activity where more than 300 students from over 30 colleges across the State are expected to take part.
Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar will inaugurate the event tomorrow at 10.30 am at the CS / IS auditorium, SJCE Golden Jubilee Bhavan.
Prof. B.G. Sangameshwara, Vice-Chancellor, JSS Science and Technology University and Prof. K. S. Lokesh, Registrar, JSS Science and Technology University, will be the chief guests. Prof. T. N. Nagabhushana, Principal, SJCE will preside. Prof. S.K. Prasad, Staff Coordinator for SJCE Editorial Board and Student Editors in Chief of SJCE Editorial Board Sriparna and Swathi will be present.
The inauguration will be followed various formal and informal events held in both English and Kannada. On the first day, there will be events like Creative Writing, Debate, JAM and more and on the second day, events like Poetry, Photography, Quiz and Pictionary will be held.
