Shankaranarayanarao (96), retired Social Welfare Department Superintendent and a resident of Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar, passed away following age-related ailments in city yesterday morning.
He leaves behind two sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.
