Shankarappa (74), retired Superintendent, Education Department and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away on Sunday in city.

He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held at Kuvempunagar Burial Grounds after his daughter arrives from USA today.
