Shankarappa (80), a resident of Vinayakanagar, passed away yesterday evening in city following cardiac arrest.
He leaves behind his wife, a son, four daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam here this afternoon, according to family sources.
