Shantha Vasanthkumar (70), wife of writer late Dr. Malali Vasanthkumar, passed away yesterday in city. She leaves behind son Ranna Malali, daughter M.V. Roopa and a host of relatives and friends. Her another daughter Vasu Malali had predeceased her a few years ago.

Last rites were performed at the family’s farm (Bhoomithayi) at Kalalavadi on Manandavadi Road yesterday evening, according to family sources.
