Shanthamma Ananda Rao (83), wife of late Ananda Rao and a resident of Krishnamurthypuram, passed away this morning in city.
She leaves behind sons Ravindranath and Gunashekar, daughter Sandhya, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.
