Shanthappa (64), a retired Commercial Tax Officer and a resident of Sharadadevinagar, passed away this morning at his residence following brief illness.

A native of Dornahalli, he leaves behind his mother, wife, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. He is the brother of Rev. Fr. M. Xavier, Parish Priest at Kollegal.

Funeral was held at Dornahalli this afternoon, according to family sources.
