Independence Day was celebrated at Sharada Vidya Mandir, Sri Jayachamarajendra PU College, Mysuru. The members of the Management hoisted the National flag.

Thejas S. Badala, student of Commerce, spoke on the importance of Independence in Modern India and emphasised an individual’s role in constructing self-reliant India.

The Chairman of the Institution, N. Sachidananda Murthy, addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of youth in building a strong self-standing Nation.

R. Anand, Secretary, S.T. Thimmaraju, Academic Director, Jayashree S. Murthy, Trustee, C. Sagar Chakravarthy, Acting Principal, Staff and through digital media students also participated in the celebration.
