Mysore/Mysuru: The birth centenary of Sheila Irani, an Educationist, Parliamentarian and Philanthropist, was celebrated at Chamundi Children’s Home in Brindavan Extension here on June 12.
Corporator SBM Manju and Raian F. Irani were the chief guests. Staff and students of Ideal Jawa Rotary School were also present. Children sang special songs in memory of the Founder Sheila Irani.
M.C. Nandakumar presided. T.V. Raghothama Rao and E. Susan compered. Chief guest Dr. J.V. Narayan, Past VP of the Home, was feted. All those who were present paid floral tributes to Sheila Irani. Sweets were distributed and lunch was arranged for all invitees.
T.V. Raghothama Rao, Hon. Secretary of Chamundi Children’s Home, proposed a vote of thanks.
